The Haith's Faithful program is the group to join if you're a hardcore fan who goes to every game. The Faithful consists of a select number of elite student fans who lead chants and cheers, taunt the opposition, get on TV at most televised games, and give their full support to UM Hoops. This program is the core of the student section at all men's home basketball games.
Membership in the Faithful requires:
- Signing the contract which enables membership in Faithful and abiding by it.
- A commitment to attend every non-winter break home game, with the exception of two that you're allowed to miss.
- Members must check in with the Category 5 Basketball Chairs before each and every game for attendance purposes. If members are delayed due to class, they must email the Basketball Chairs beforehand, explaining the situation.
- Members are expected to be at the games early and to wear their special Haith's Faithful t-shirt.
- Members are also expected to help promote the team amongst fellow students and to attend any basketball pep rallies held throughout the season.
- In addition, members are required to attend two women's basketball games.
- Not meeting the requirements will result in the removal of a member from the program.
By meeting these requirements, members of the Faithful are entitled to:

shirt, available only to those in the program.
- Reduced waiting time outside before games. Members of the Faithful have their own line outside the arena and must be there before the gates open to ensure their seats.
- The best seats available to students. The first several rows of the student section are reserved for the Faithful. Use these seats to be the best and loudest fans in the building!
- Other select perks, giveaways, and rewards which may pop up over the season; keep your eyes open.
So if you want to be a loud, hardcore, and elite student fan at the basketball games, get with the program and become one of the Faithful.
Sign-ups will be held before the season in various spots on campus; contact the Category 5 Basketball Chairs for more information. Make sure to sign up ONLY if you're dedicated to maintaining your membership in the Faithful, with all its responsibilities and rewards.
